Community Health Screening:
Breast Cancer Awareness Edition
Our Community Health Screening initiative is a yearly commitment to the well-being of our community. Held annually, this event provides free health checks with a special focus on breast cancer awareness and prevention. By bringing together medical professionals, wellness educators, and local support networks, we aim to promote early detection, healthy living, and informed self-care. Each year, we create a safe, accessible space for women and families to receive screenings, consultations, and health education—at no cost. This annual initiative reflects our belief that a healthy community is a strong one, and no one should be left behind when it comes to care.
Why It Matters
Breast cancer is one of the leading health threats to women in Ghana, yet early detection dramatically increases the chances of survival. Many in our communities lack access to routine screening or awareness about the signs and risks. That’s why iSpace Foundation is partnering with health professionals to offer free screenings and education sessions—to empower our community with knowledge, tools, and support for better health.
Who It’s For
This initiative is open to all women in our community—especially those with limited access to healthcare, including market women, informal workers, students, and mothers. Men are also encouraged to attend to learn how to support their loved ones and raise awareness.
What to Expect
